Winter Guard

The State of Art Winter guard is the 2007 MCGC Collegiate State Champion.
This year the guard will be performing "Hidden Places" by Bjork.
The guard consists of 21 members who are students and members of SMB.
The staff includes Peter Eichler (SMB alumni, performer from BLAST), Orlando Suttles (SMB guard coordinator) and guest choreographers Joshua Bennigfield (Carmel H.S. IN...2007 WGI Sch. Open World Champions) and Brian Sutton (choreographer/performer from BLAST).
2008 Competition dates are:
- Jan.26: Northview H.S. (Grand Rapids, MI)
- Feb. 16: Troy-Athens H.S. (Troy, MI)
- Mar. 15: Lakeland H.S. (White Lake,MI)
- Mar. 29: Livonia H.S. (Livonia, MI)
- Apr. 4: (tentative exhibition - Lansing area school TBA)
- Apr. 5: MCGC State Championships @SVSU (Saginaw ,MI)
Rehearsals are Monday 7-10 pm and Wednesday 6 pm-9 pm @ Dem Hall.
